Wanda Dorosz, Founder, Managing Partner and Chief Executive of Quorum

Wanda Dorosz is a Founder, Managing Partner and Chief Executive Officer of Quorum, a private equity boutique that has managed over CA$900 million in growth capital and real estate since inception. Wanda is responsible for Quorum's overall strategy and portfolio management. Wanda's first oil and gas technology investment was in 1990, a company generating CA$400 million in sales today. Wanda is a director of numerous private, public and not-for-profit organizations including the Quorum Group, York University Schulich Business School and Top 40 Under 40. Wanda was a national judge of the Canadian E&Y Entrepreneur of the Year Program for a number of years. Some of Wanda's prior directorships include Investors Group, Canada's largest mutual fund company with CA$60 billion dollars in assets, Residential Equities REIT, the University of Toronto Governing Council, Toronto Stock Exchange Advisory Committee and the Abitibi-Price Office Products Advisory Board. Wanda was appointed by the Prime Minister of Canada to the National Advisory Board on Science and Technology and to Harbourfront Corporation. Other prior directorships include Anderson Consulting (now Accenture)'s Canadian Advisory Board and Ontario Centre for Microelectronics. Wanda is also currently a member of the Investment Committee of the Canadian Federal Government's $1 billion Sustainable Development Technology Fund. Wanda received a Bachelor of Education with distinction from the University of Regina and an LLB first Quartile from the University of British Columbia.

C. Kent Jespersen, Independent

Mr. Jespersen brings great expertise in the energy and technology sectors. He is currently Chairman and CEO of La Jolla Resources International Ltd and is also Chairman of Seven Generations, a technology oil and natural gas exploration and production company and CCR Technologies Ltd. He currently serves on the boards of Transalta Corporation, Axia NetMedia Corporation and Matrikon Inc. He is also past Chairman of North American Oil Sands Corporation and has held senior executive positions with several energy resource companies, including serving as President at NOVA Gas International and Foothills Pipe Lines and as Senior Vice President at Husky Oil.

André Lamothe, Independent

Mr. Lamothe was Vice-President and Ombudsman of Laurantian Bank before becoming Executive Vice-President and COO of North American Trust in Toronto. He then served in the Caribbeans as CEO and Board Member of Laurentian Bank and Trust and BNP Paribas. He was also EVP of Banque Privée Edmond de Rothschild in Nassau. He was President Founder of SOCODEVI (Society of Cooperation for International Development), president of Speed Skating Canada and member of its Calgary Olympic Consulting Committee. Along his career, he served on numerous corporate, cooperative and philanthropic institutions. Mr. Lamothe presently chairs and serves on three other boards and was nominated by the Quebec Government on the Board of a well known Professional Order. He obtained a certificate in management (Banking) from McGill University and is a Fellow of the Institute of Canada Bankers. He is a member of l?Ordre des administrateurs agréés (ADM.A). In 2007, he graduated from Laval University as a Certified Board Director (CAS).

Robert Lévesque

Robert Lévesque joined BDR Capital as Vice-President & Partner in September 2008 following a successful 3-year term as Investments Director, Technology at Desjardins Venture Capital. He has 26 years of management and executive experience and offers a unique expertise in the capital market and technology sectors. He played key leadership roles at a number of notable organizations such as Scotia Bank, Dubeau Securities, Levesque Beaubien Geoffrion and Barrontech Management Group,. Over his career, he participated in a large number of IPOs and private investments as well as several M&A transactions and strategic alliances. Robert currently sits and has sat on the board of several technologies related companies.

Claude Vachet

Claude Vachet has 19 years of operational, venture capital and transactional experience and is presently a Managing Partner at Kirchner Investment Management Corporation where he is managing a large portfolio of venture capital investments for Coller Capital. Throughout his carrier, Claude has served on the boards of several high technologies companies and has worked with companies in seed, start-up and expansion stages, in turnaround situations and completed an extensive number of exits through strategic sales, IPO, MBO and secondary transactions. Prior to joining Kirchner Private Capital Group, Claude was a Managing Partner at Multiple Capital where he managed a portfolio of venture capital investments. Claude was part of the management team who realized the largest Canadian secondary acquisition of a Venture Capital fund, the Innovatech Montreal privatization transaction for a total consideration of $200M. The Innovatech portfolio was an early stage venture fund composed of 108 Life Science, IT&C and Advanced Tech portfolio companies and had made investments as a Limited Partner in 12 funds. Previously, Claude was Vice-President of the IT and Communications Portfolio at Innovatech where he had the responsibility to manage a team of investment professionals and a portfolio of 42 early stage companies. Before joining Innovatech, Claude founded a firm providing services to small and medium businesses helping them source funding. Claude started his career in the clean tech industry at Degramont where he worked as an application engineer. Claude holds an MBA from HEC Montreal and a Chemical Engineering Degree from Ecole Polytechnique de Montreal.
