Mr. Claude Champagne, CEO and Member of Board
Mr. Champagne brings extensive expertise and leadership to LxDATA. He has held various senior management positions at Nortel Networks, Positron Industries, Positron Fiber Systems Corp., and worked as VP Optical Networks North America for Marconi PLC. He has also held advisory roles and served on the Boards of several high tech companies and served until recently as Chairman of LxSix Photonics Inc.
Mr. Robert Caporuscio, Vice-President Marketing and Business Development
Robert Caporuscio joined LxDATA after a successful career at Nortel Networks, where he held senior product management and business development positions in the Optical Networks Division. In these roles he helped Nortel launch products and initiatives that established the company as the industry leader in market share. Mr. Caporuscio has spent over 17 years in the data and communications industry and has a proven track record of successfully bringing products to market and increasing revenue. He has been at the forefront of introduction of new technologies and innovative marketing solutions. Mr. Caporuscio holds a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering and an MBA from McGill University.
Ms. Donna Farnworth, CFO
Donna Farnworth has more than 20 years experience in finance and accounting with international companies within the manufacturing and software sectors. She recently served as CFO for LTRIM Technologies Inc, a Quebec based VC funded company and previously VP Finance and CFO for AD OPT Technologies Inc. where she was an integral member of the executive management team since 1995. Ad Opt went public on the TSX in 1999 and was sold to Boston based Kronos Incorporated in 2004. Donna holds a B.COM, Finance and a CMA designation.
Mr. Michel Laneuville, Vice-President Engineering
Michel Laneuville has more than 20 years of technology development and well as General Management experience. He recently served as General Manager of the Marconi Optical Networks Communications group. Prior to this he was Group Leader of the Video Systems Development Group at Nortel Networks. He holds a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from Universite de Sherbrooke.
Mr. Paul Lefebvre, CTO, (Founder)
A recognized leader in the field of process engineering, Paul Lefebvre is co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of LxDATA. During his career, he held several senior technology positions at QPS Technology and Bragg Photonics. He has also led a number of R&D projects for FBG manufacturing, successfully developing and introducing products for major industrial customers. Mr. Lefebvre has worked on assignment at the Communications Research Center Canada where he focused on integrated optical waveguides. He holds a Masters of Science in Engineering from the Université of Montreal. He has published more than ten articles on different areas of integrated optics.
Andre Vincelette, Director of Quality and Reliability, (Founder)
Dr. André Vincelette is co-founder and Director of Quality and Reliability at LxDATA. Dr. Vincelette started his career designing and qualifying manufacturing processes for a variety of products and materials. He spent the last five years in the fiber optics industry with responsibilities for process characterization, quality and reliability, as well as prototyping and failure analysis. Dr. Vincelette has also been active in the materials aspects of athermal packaging devices. He holds a Ph.D. in materials processing, a masters degree in material science and a chemical engineering degree from the École Polytechnique de Montréal.
